Discussion | 87% of SA municipalities fall short on audits

JOHANNESBURG - The recent Auditor-General's report shows that only 34 out of the country's 247 municipalities received clean audits.

Gauteng achieved only one clean audit outcome in the Midvaal.

Ekurhuleni, which had achieved clean audits in recent years, lost this status.

Tshwane has shown improvement, moving from an adverse to a qualified audit opinion.
