JOHANNESBURG - The South African mining industry has been facing challenges.
The 2025 Mining Indaba is set to lead the conversation by placing communities at the heart of mining's future.
It comes against the backdrop of the crisis in Stilfontein.
For the first time, the event will feature participation from community and traditional leaders alongside industry giants.
The aim is to create a platform to discuss sustainable mining practices and their direct impact on local communities.
To discuss this further, mining indaba's head of public affairs Collen Dlamini spoke to eNCA.
