JOHANNESBURG - The Matric class of 2024 finished their year with flying colours achieving a pass rate of 87.3% - the highest South Africa has seen since democracy.
The Lufhereng Secondary School in Soweto is celebrating its 100% pass rate despite it being a non-fee paying school.

The school is well equipped with mobile classrooms and has been ranked the best performing school in Gauteng.
