JOHANNESBURG - The dust has settled after the national election and there were big winners and losers.

It's still unclear how the government will be formed but what is crystal clear is that a coalition will govern South Africa for the first time.

Good Governance Africa is highlighting the importance of transparency when it comes to coalitions. 

The NPO says citizens should understand commitments being made on a national and provincial level.
