JOHANNESBURG - Thirty years after the dawn of democracy in South Africa, much of the hope and idealism that defined those groundbreaking elections is fading away according to the Anton Lubowski Educational Trust.
It says there's an air of hopelessness in the country, with rising poverty levels, crime and corruption.
