CAPE TOWN - African youth are committed to democracy but express greater dissatisfaction than their elders. This is according to an inaugural Afrobarometer report.
The report says youth in the continent prefer democracy to any kind of authoritarian alternative.
The findings are based on over 53,000 face-to-face interviews conducted in 39 countries.
Afrobarometer digital portfolio manager, Shannon van Wyk-Khosa, spoke to eNCA.
