Crime in SA | Star officers strengthening the thin blue line

JOHANNESBURG - The police are often bashed for not doing their jobs and being corrupt.

But, many men and women in blue are putting their best boot forward.

Among them are are Joe Coetzer and Molwantoa Rapakgadi.

Coetzer helped take down a cash-in-transit robbery syndicate. Unfortunately, he was shot in the leg in the raid.

Rapakgadi investigates serial rapists and offenders involved in child pornography.

He has helped secure 57 life-terms for 17 serial rapists.
