Organised crime is a threat to SA's economy
JOHANNESBURG - Organised crime is fast emerging as the biggest threat to South Africa’s economy.
The construction industry has been mostly affected leading to increased costs, project delays and the disruption of service delivery.
According to the 2023 Global Organized Crime Index, South Africa is ranked seventh regarding organised crime.
Jenni Irish-Qhobosheane, from the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime spoke with eNCA.
