Crime in SA | Ex-cops rehired to boost detective capacity

JOHANNESBURG - Over 200 former police officers have been rehired and are currently working as detectives.

That's art of plans to enhance the SAPS detective capacity.

Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu, says there are over 8,500 vacancies.
