Crime in SA | Discussion | 2.6 percent increase in contact crimes

JOHANNESBURG - The latest quarterly crime statistics are sobering with murder, rape, and extortion all increasing Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu said, presenting the latest data from April to June.

Mchunu says the police stations recording the most crime are in the Western Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Eastern Cape.

Limpopo is the safest province as far as murder is concerned.
