Crime in SA | Braamfontein shooting driven by taxi violence

JOHANNESBURG - Braamfontein was turned into a virtual warzone on Thursday as taxi bosses opened fire on each other.

Two taxi owners were killed, but devastatingly a student was caught in the crossfire and was killed.

The 18-year-old was in his second year of study at the University of Johannesburg.

Another student was injured in the incident, and all students on the bus are receiving trauma counselling.
