JOHANNESBURG - The Justice Minister has reopened the inquiry into the deaths of apartheid-era activists, the Cradock Four.

Matthew Goniwe, Sparrow Mkonto, Fort Calata and Sicelo Mhlauli were abducted and killed in 1985.

The Justice and Correctional Services Department says the new inquest will address several inconsistencies with the existing evidence.
