JOHANNESBURG - The discovery of a new, highly infectious COVID-19 sub-variant has some people worried.
However, Professor Salim Abdool Karim from the Centre for Aids' Programme of Research in South Africa says there is no reason to be concerned.

He says this is simply a new version or mutation of the Omicron variant. He's urged the public not to panic, but to remain vigilant.
