JOHANNESBURG - Each year when the Old Mutual Investment and Savings Monitor is released, it tells a dire story of increasing financial pressure on households.
Last year the theme was financially stressed consumers with one in three people not being able to meet their bond payments.
However, this year has shown a surprising turnaround in optimism and confidence.
According to the survey, 68 percent of people feel their finances will improve in the next six months.
