JOHANNESBURG - South Africans are deeply concerned about corruption in South Africa and have little confidence in law enforcement's ability to tackle it.
That's the finding of Corruption Watch's new report.
The study is called The Impact of Corruption: Insights from a Perceptions and Experiences Survey.
The non-profit interviewed around 1,500 people over a two-month period across all provinces.
Nearly half of respondents exhibited low levels of confidence, with a third expressing no confidence at all.
A total of 81 percent believe government is not doing enough to tackle corruption.
We discuss this further with Corruption Watch's Acting Lead Coordinator for Stakeholder Relations, Melusi Ncala.
