DURBAN - South Africa’s famous Comrades Marathon takes place on Sunday.
This year’s 97th edition of the ultra-human race will see runners start at the Durban City Hall all the way to Pietermaritzburg in a 89-kilometre course.
A total of 5,000 volunteers at refreshment stations, 75 doctors and 20,500 runners will all be involved in the ultimate human race.
