Cinemas fight power cuts, streaming platforms

JOHANNESBURG - Ster-Kinekor announced that it plans to close 9 cinemas across the country,
and retrench over 230 workers.

The group says it's faced numerous challenges, including power cuts, streaming services, and of course the COVID-19 pandemic.
