Cape fires | Surge in fires on Table Mountain

CAPE TOWN - Table Mountain National Park has been monitoring veld fires within the Park to identify hotspot locations and overall trends.

This year alone, it says it has recorded 22 fires from January 1 to 18th.

Authorities believe the majority of these fires are caused by "deliberate malicious intent".
