Budget constraints still a hurdle in improving Eastern Cape schools

JOHANNESBURG - It's been quite a day as pupils all across the country navigated their first day of school. That's right, the holidays are over and now it's back to reality.

Today we saw millions of hopeful school children embark on new journey, some returning, and others experiencing school for the first time.

Eastern Cape department of education spokesperson Vuyiseka Mboxela spoke to the eNCA about how the first day went in the province.
