CAPE TOWN - The Democratic Alliance is calling on all affected parties to accept the outcome of the settlement negotiated between the Presidency, the Department of Basic Education as well as Solidarity.

The party has defended the agreement to not implement clauses 4 and 5 of the Bela Act. The two clauses address language and admission policies at public schools.
The Presidency says the agreement between the Minister and the union has no bearing.
