CAPE TOWN - Fun in the sun is the order of the day as holiday makers soak up the last days of 2023.
The beach is one of the all-time favourites for South Africans, and with such a variety in the Western Cape there's plenty to choose from.

The National Sea Rescue Institute in the Western Cape says these drownings can be avoided and are urging beachgoers to respect advice from lifesavers and be cautious.
eNCA reporter Nobesuthu Hejana gave an update from Sea Point.
