ANC's renewal and rebuilding programme well underway

JOHANNESBURG - As the ANC celebrates its 112 birthday this month, it appears the party's renewal and rebuilding programme is also well underway.

In its election manifesto review, the ANC announced that members with criminal records or are facing party disciplinary action will not be eligible for nomination as candidates for Parliament and provincial legislatures. The party is also calling for a post matric qualification as a requirement for anyone wishing to serve as an Member of Parliament or Provincial Legislature.

To discuss these changes and more, ANC's Electoral Committee Secretary Chief Livhuwani Matsila had a discussion with the eNCA.
