Ahmed Kathrada Foundation pays tribute to Deokaran

JOHANNESBURG - Friday marks the third year since the assassination of Babita Deokaran. 

The health official was gunned down for exposing tender corruption at Thembisa Hospital and the Gauteng health department.

While six men were sentenced to prison terms ranging from six to 22 years for the murder, the people who orchestrated it are still unidentified. 

The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation is commemorating the life of Deokaran.
