AGOA | Calls for deal extension to go beyond 10 years

JOHANNESBURG - The Trade, Industry and Competition Department has been in the United States pleading the case for South Africa’s continued inclusion in AGOA and the talks sound positive.

The African Growth and Opportunity Act is American legislation that gives certain African countries preferential access to US markets with few or no tariffs to export there.
