PARLIAMENT - The Umkhonto We Sizwe Party says it will ask the Constitutional Court to interdict the swearing in of members of Parliament, until its grievances are thoroughly addressed.
MK has also legally instructed the Secretary to Parliament, Xolile George, and Chief Justice Raymond Zondo to refrain from convening the sitting of both houses of Parliament.
It argues that unresolved objections to the IEC's handling of elections, made by various parties, render the sitting of parliament and all its activities unconstitutional.
The MK Party has secured 58 seats in the National Assembly.
