JOHANNESBURG - Former President Thabo Mbeki has taken a swipe at his successor.
He's accused Jacob Zuma of destroying South Africa's democracy, and the revenue service in particular.
Mbeki was speaking at an annual Unisa lecture on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the MK Youth League has controversially nominated Zuma as their candidate for president, even though he's ineligible.
With the elections around the corner, why is Mbeki's walk down memory lane so important?
Political analysts, Sanet Madontsela and Sipho Seepe discuss this on eNCA.
