JOHANNESBURG - We are getting closer to elections and we’ve heard promises from different political party leaders.

The Congress of the People was formed by a faction that lost power in Polokwane in 2009.

Many leaders of the party have since left or been fired from the party.

On Saturday, the party unveiled its election manifesto.
