JOHANNESBURG – As the country observes the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu, has released the crime statistics for the second quarter.
And this time, there has been an improvement.

Stats reveal that between the 1st of July and the 30th of September, sexual crimes decreased by 2.5%, rape dropped by 3.1%, serious crimes declined by 5.1%, contact crimes dropped by 3%, and murder saw a 5.8% decrease.
