JOHANNESBURG - The quest by former president Jacob Zuma to privately prosecute the current president, Cyril Ramaphosa, continues.
Zuma has accused his successor of being an “accessory after the fact”, for allegedly failing to act against prosecutor Billy Downer and journalist Karyn Maughan.
He alleges that the two disclosed his medical details in violation of the National Prosecuting Authority Act.
Ramaphosa's legal team have filed papers opposing the reconsider application.
The matter will be back in court on 6 August.
