HARARE - Two Harare mayors have been fired after being accused of not being members of the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change.
The party's self-confessed Interim Secretary General, Sengezo Tshabangu, fired both mayors in the past month.
CCC leader, Nelson Chamisa, meanwhile claims Tshabangu is an impostor sent by Zanu-PF to destabilise Zimbabwe’s capital.

Analysts and social commentators believe the continuous axing of mayors in the capital city will affect smooth administration.
Former Harare mayor Jacob Mafume has returned following his election on Thursday.
