STILFONTEIN - The Zimbabwean consulate is prepred to work with the South African government to verify and identify its citizens from Stilfontein mine in North West.
Zimbabwean consulate general Eria Phiri says this partnership is to ensure that the whole process is brought to a conclusion and finality.
Phiri says the verification and identification process will also be done for the 465 illegal miners who have been brought to the surface alive.

The death toll in Stilfontein has risen to 87 with 246 survivors.
It is believed that nearly 2000 illegal miners were in the mine in August, and over 1000 have since been arrested.
The rescue operation at Stilfontein has come to an end.
