HARARE - Civic society groups are insisting on Zimbabweans' right to protest.

This after a wanted war veterans leader called for mass demonstrations against the government.

War veteran Blessed Geza appeared on X calling for protests against resident Emmerson Mnangagwa.

He's accusing Mnangagwa of failing to rule and wants him to vacate the office.

Police say the demonstrations would be illegal and will be crashed.
