GQEBERHA - Scores of Nelson Mandela Bay residents have been evacuated overnight due to heavy rains and floods.
They are now being housed in community halls and schools.
Parts of Gqeberha and Kariega have also been left with no power.
Humanitarian organisation Gift of the Givers is lending a helping hand there.
Ali Sablay from the organisation said the water infrastructure in Kariega was damaged.
