Weather warning | KZN on alert for extreme weather

DURBAN - Emergency services are on high alert amid a severe thunderstorm warning for large parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

The powerful storm system is expected to remain over the province, bringing severe thunderstorms, hail, strong winds and heavy rainfall.

The impact so far has been minor.

But with more rain predicted, authorities are not leaving anything to chance.

Disaster management teams are on standby to respond to emergencies across the province.

Forecasters expect the bad weather to continue until Wednesday.
