WATCH: Thabo Bester claims he lives in a cage
PRETORIA - Thabo Bester's attempts to have a laptop and modem in prison have failed.
He filed an urgent court application, claiming his constitutional rights are being violated.
Representing himself, he failed to convince the court that the matter was urgent.
Bester was sentenced to life in prison for murdering his then girlfriend.
He is soon to go on trial for escaping from prison, among other charges.
