WATCH | Stats SA grilled on unreleased Census numbers

CAPE TOWN - Parliament summoned Stats SA to come and explain the exclusion of data from its 2022 Census.

The national statistics agency, which has an annual budget of R2.6bn, appeared before the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Portfolio Committee. 

They had to account for income, employment, mortality and fertility numbers they argue, were unusable.
