WATCH | The Special Vote application deadline is Friday 5pm

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is 25 days away from the general elections but there are many voters hoping to cast a Special Ballot.

So far, there are just over a million who have registered to do so on 27 and 28 May.

If you wish to be part of this group, you have until 5pm on Friday to register.

The Special Vote also includes those who are hospitalised and those confined to their homes for various reasons.
