CENTURION - Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga confirms that from midnight on Thursday, e-tolls will be a thing of the past in Gauteng.
However, the minister says that the gantry system will remain active for crime-fighting purposes.
Motorists and road users will no longer be charged for using the service.
