JOHANNESBURG - Police say some of the suspects in the killing of rapper AKA and his friend, Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane are already behind bars linked to other crimes.
SAPS national spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said police have made progress.
"We have positive evidence linking identified suspects, others are in custody related to other matters. Others are on the run, and the team is hot on their heels."
Saturday, 10 February marks exactly a year since the killing of rapper AKA and his friend, Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane.
They were gunned down outside Wish Restaurant in Florida Road, Durban.
The restaurant closed its doors in April after a downturn in business following the shooting.
