JOHANNESBURG - The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa says it is continuing its probe into the train derailment that left at least 25 people injured in the Western Cape.
The incident occurred at the Dal Josafat Station near Paarl on Tuesday while the train was en route to Cape Town.
Prasa says its Western Cape team members have been visiting affected commuters.
Of the 25 people hospitalised 19 have been treated and discharged.
Meanwhile, survivors are demanding accountability.
The Railway Safety Regulator is conducting an inquiry to determine the cause, with early findings expected to be announced on Friday.
