JOHANNESBURG - After what was described by families as a sluggish rescue operation, police are now set to start bringing up the remaining illegal miners in Stilfontein next week.
Unconfirmed reports suggest over 1,000 of them are still underground.
Police Minister Senzo Mchunu says the task team will announce exactly when the operation will begin.
