WATCH | Mother, 3 others in court linked to Joshlin Smith's disappearance

CAPE TOWN - Joshlin Smith's mother, her boyfriend, a friend and an alleged sangoma stood in the dock in connection with the six-year-old's disappearance.

Smith went missing from her home in an informal settlement in Middelpos, Saldanha Bay, on 19 February.

Following days of searching by police and community members, clothes belonging to a little girl were found in a nearby bush, over the weekend and sent for forensic analysis.

The four have been charged with human trafficking and kidnapping.

It's alleged, Joshlin was sold for R20,000.
