JOHANNESBURG - Ex-Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has reacted to her firing on social media.
Taking to social media platform X, Mkhwebane said she wished she could see what she calls “concomitant efficiency” in removing her, to ending load-shedding.
She calls it an “injustice” that was also perpetrated on Steve Biko Day, saying it will be legally challenged in review proceedings.
Mkhwebane says she will take the decision on review.
This week the National Assembly voted to adopt the Section 194 committee's findings, that found Mkhwebane guilty of misconduct and incompetence.
At the same time CASAC Executive Secretary Lawson Naidoo says Mkhwebane's chances of success are very slim.
DA/ANC MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! I wish we could see such “concomitant efficiency” to end loadshedding?
