JOHANNESBURG - The Judicial Service Commission will proceed with its business as scheduled after the Johannesburg High Court dismissed the MK Party's bid to stop its next sitting.
The party wanted JSC activities to be suspended pending a review of John Hlophe's participation.
At the same time, the Western Cape High Court has granted the MK Party permission to appeal the judgment that prevented Hlophe from sitting on the commission.
That matter was brought by the DA and judgment was handed down a week ago.
