JOHANNESBURG - The general elections on 8 May 2019 saw the lowest voter turnout since 1994.
That's according to the Independent Electoral Commission's 2019 General Election post-analysis.
It states only 65.99 % of the country's citizens registered to vote, a 7.5% drop compared to 2014.
