JOHANNESBURG - Authorities raided the Goodwood Correctional Facility on Thursday.

Last week, a video taken at the centre went viral on social media.

In the video, an inmate is seen with contraband items, bragging about his prison life.

In the background, others laugh and cheer him on.

The Correctional Services Department has confirmed the inmate in the video has been disciplined and moved to another facility where he is now held under maximum security.
