JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng Education Department has moved to reassure parents and guardians that teachers' jobs won't be affected by budget constraints in the province.
Education MEC, Matome Chiloane, provided updates on the sector and the department's pupil placement process.
The parents of around 800,000 grade 1 and grade 8 pupils are expected to receive placement offers from Monday.
