WATCH | Ekurhuleni taxis back on the road

JOHANNESBURG - Ekurhuleni taxis will be back on the road and running normally from Friday.

Commuters were left stranded and two people were shot dead in a taxi shutdown on Thursday.

The action affected Germiston, Alberton, Daveyton and Benoni.

It was sparked by a dispute between taxi association patrollers and bus services.

Gauteng Transport MEC says it apologises again to all commuters who were left without transport.
