JOHANNESBURG - There is no legal barrier blocking the State from arresting embattled National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula.
She brought an urgent application to interdict police from arresting her last month.
However, the High Court in Pretoria ruled that a court cannot interdict statutory authorities from exercising their duties.
