JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane is urging parents to adopt a proactive role, in ensuring the safety of children at schools.
Chiloane held a community Imbizo in Kliptown, where residents aired their concerns about safety in schools and the department's handling of food poisoning and gun violence.
